Circus Arts Aerial 1

Who it's for

Anyone who is new to aerial circus skills. This course is an appropriate starting point for those who wish to progress on to rope, silks, static trapeze, aerial hoop and flying trapeze.

When you can do it

Tuesdays, 8 - 9.30pm

Wednesdays, 6.30 - 8pm

Saturdays, 10.30am - 12pm

What you can do

The Circus Arts Aerial 1 course gives an overview of a range of aerial skills, including rope, static trapeze, silks and flying trapeze. Participants will learn each of the four skills in three-week rotations, in order to gain an understanding of aerial skills and find out where their strengths and preferences lie.

Course length varies from 11 -14 weeks depending on the time of year. Over the duration of the term, participants take part in one course class a week.

During the course, your teacher will make a decision about whether you are ready to progress to one of the next level courses.
