Supporting our work with children and young people
“You allowed me to train in something I had literally only dreamed of” - Roxanne, Scholarship Recipient
We aim to give every child in the UK the opportunity to participate in circus arts, developing their creativity, physical wellbeing and confidence. Every year we work with over 1,000 young people aged from 3 to 18, ranging from one-off taster workshops with local schools to our weekly intensive Youth Circus classes.

How your donation could help
Your support of the Launchpad fund will allow us to expand our work with young people across the UK, allowing us to work with even more aspiring circus artists over the next three years:
- £240 pays for a young person to attend our annual National Youth Circus Event – Every year we run a free weekend of workshops, seminars and performances for 70 young people and their teachers, who travel from as far afield as Aberdeen, Birmingham and Cornwall. Access to the event is free and we provide food and accommodation for all attendees. Sign up to donate £20 per month here.
- £600 allows us to put the spring back in a student’s step by replacing a well-worn tightwire – Our students’ safety is paramount. Investing in state-of-the-art equipment allows our young people to continue taking risks in a safe environment. Sign up to donate £50 per month here.
- £1,000 allows us to deliver two outreach workshops for young people in the local community – We regularly take our specialist teachers out to schools and community groups in deprived areas of London, introducing over 300 young people to accessible circus skills each year.
- £4,500 allows us to offer a full scholarship to a Youth Circus student for one year – Students on our weekly Youth Circus classes are chosen based on talent and potential, not background. By allowing students to train with us for free through our scholarship programme we ensure that income is not a barrier to participation.
