Supervised Practice Time

Who it's for

Supervised Practise Time is only available to those who are currently on a Level 2 or 3 course, or who are LYC, Diploma or CAT students, aged 16+.

What you can do

Practice Time enables participants who are currently enrolled in Circus Arts 2 or above to spend supervised time on equipment outside of their usual class. This time can be used to consolidate skills, build up more strength, and become more comfortable with the equipment or work on devising acts. We encourage skills sharing within the allotted time, however informal teaching is not allowed.

Practice Time is intended for using techniques you’ve learned on your Circus Arts 2 and 3 courses and not for experimenting with new skills. Those using unsafe practice will be asked to leave.

Please note that flying trapeze is not available to use during practice time.

During practice time, you must expect to share the space and equipment with other participants. A teacher is available to help facilitate this time fairly.

When you can do it

Fridays - usually from 7.30pm - 9pm

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer any courses on our Adult or recreational Youth programmes during Term 1 (September - December 2020).
