Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts – Circus Arts
This course is offered free to 16 - 18 year olds.
Some funding is also available to those up to 25 years old.
The Diploma in Performing Arts is run by Hackney Community College. This one year, full time course will give you an insight into circus and the wider performing arts sector.
Students spend approximately 16 - 20 hours per week at Hackney Community College’s Shoreditch Campus and 9 hours at the National Centre for Circus Arts.
The National Centre is responsible for running six circus modules over the year long course.
The BTEC is aimed at those with some experience in performing arts, although we accept students on the basis of future potential.
The course is taught at a beginner to intermediate level and is designed to enhance current skills and explore new ones. It can also be used as a platform into higher education courses, performing and other BTEC studies.
More info about fees, funding and financial support is available on Hackney Community College’s website.
