Scratch Cabaret Programme | 3 November
Welcome to Scratch Cabaret 2025
We’re thrilled to share this performance by alumni of our degree programme, showcasing how they’ve developed as performers since leaving the course — we hope you enjoy the show!
Join us for another Scratch Cabaret at Underbelly Boulevard on 15 December, with performances from our talented third year BA students.
Groovy Cat

A Space Oddity
A curious little alien has crash-landed on Earth! With a busted ship, and no idea how to communicate, she sets off on a journey to understand the strange, beings called “humans.”
Will this friendly extra-terrestrial learn how to speak the Earthly ways… or dance their way back home?

Walking with the Devil
In a world where temptation and power intertwine, Walking with the Devil tells the story of a woman drawn to the edge of desire and the strength she finds when she steps beyond it.
Suspended in black silk and shadows, she moves between control and surrender, transforming darkness into beauty and defiance. This act weaves a hypnotic dance between danger, elegance, and empowerment.

Mhairi Eleanor
Velvet Touch
A dance where grace meets hunger, and sin wears velvet.

POP!
Darling… it’s not the bubbles that get you. It’s the rise!

Powerful
This act blends two physical extremes: the dynamic quality of rope and the vulnerability of contortion to portray the experience of feeling empowered through one’s sensuality.

Party in the Apocalypse
The year is 2075. The world as we know it has ended, the war destroyed most of humanity and most of those who survived have stayed burrowed underground away from the desolation it bought.
But… in central Soho, in a small building still left standing, a rebellion is happening. The party lives on in a fight for love.

Born Sinful
Temptation calls, and the devil doesn’t take no for an answer. Some pleasures are worth the damnation. Will you cross the line?
Indulgence is the altar, and your soul is the sweetest offering. Desire sharpens its teeth, and surrender is the only salvation worth craving. Wickedness isn’t a punishment — it’s a liberation. And once you’ve tasted it, there’s no going back.

We’ve always been passionate about ensuring our students have high-quality opportunities to perform their work and donations have helped us continue to produce these shows. But, as with many producing theatres in recent times, the cost of delivery has rapidly increased, and it now costs us roughly £100,000 every year to put on our student productions.
Please consider making a donation today and help support this hugely important part of the learning journey.
