We recognise that there may be occasions where you wish to escalate an issue because of a concern around the conduct of the senior management or CEO, or under the whistleblowing procedure, you feel that raising it with any member of National Centre staff could be detrimental to you in some way.

In that case, you can contact the Chair of the Audit Committee who is a Trustee and your report will only be seen by them. You can do this anonymously or add your contact details.

The Office for Students (OfS) operates a free speech complaints scheme. Under that scheme, they can review complaints about free speech from non-student members, staff, visiting speakers, and applicants for academic posts. You must use existing National Centre complaints or grievance procedures first but once those have been exhausted and you remain unsatisfied with the outcome, the OfS scheme is free to use.
