Circus Champions
Our Circus Champions are a group of individuals, with experience of the National Centre’s programmes and training, who are passionate advocates and inspirational role models for the next generation of circus artists.
Tabby Stoecker

Tabby Stoecker is a Team GB skeleton athlete from London/Bath.
She is an Olympic Champion, World Cup race winner, double World Championship medalist, European Championship medalist, World Cup overall bronze medalist, double Junior World Championship medal winner and Junior European Champion despite only making her international debut in December 2021. She is the first woman of colour to win a gold medal at the Winter Olympics for team GB.
She is passionate about being a positive role model within women’s sport and beyond, with particular areas of interest in increasing participation in sport, women’s health literacy and diversity in winter sport.
Tabby is a graduate of our London Youth Circus and Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) programme. With a background in gymnastics, during her 7 years on the scheme Tabby excelled and discovered her passion for flying trapeze. She performed as imaginative characters on stage and dived wholeheartedly into her weekly training, always radiating passion.
