Join Bethany Shum (Circus Physiotherapist) in this 3-hour workshop at the National Centre for Circus Arts where we will focus on Load Management & Recovery Strategies for aerialists.

What will you learn?

In this workshop, we will dive deep into:

  1. Physical Demands & Circus Bodies Challenges – Learn about common physical health conditions that aerialists face
  2. Load Management & Exercise Planning – How to balance training intensity, volume, and recovery to avoid burnout and maximize performance.
  3. Recovery Strategies & Injury Prevention – Active recovery techniques, and myofascial release for acrobats/aerialists/performers!
