BRÖLLIN CASTLE OFFERS SPACE FOR CONCENTRATED ARTISTIC PROCESSES IN THE MIDST
OF NATURE
As part of the annual residency program, groups of artists from the performing arts (focus: dance, performance, contemporary circus) can apply for a residency of up to two weeks in 2027.
WHO CAN APPLY?
This call for proposals is aimed at regionally, nationally, and internationally active performing arts groups. Groups can apply if:
- They are working on a new production with secured or applied-for funding,
- They wish to further develop or resume an existing project
- or are – given the current funding situation – in a research or orientation phase and need time for artistic development.
WHAT DOES THE RESIDENCE OFFER?
A stay at the residence lasts one to two weeks and includes:
- Rehearsal and work spaces (studio, outdoor areas) including basic technical equipment (overview of spatial options here)
- Accommodation (depending on occupancy in single, double or multi-bed rooms)
- Catering provided by the castle kitchen (vegetarian)
- A partial travel expense allowance upon agreement and subject to availability
- At the end of the residency, a public or
- Internal presentation of the work results will take place in a jointly agreed format.
RESIDENCE PERIODS
Residencies will take place between May and September 2027. Upon acceptance, the specific dates will be agreed upon jointly. The stay will be a minimum of one week and a maximum of two weeks.
Please note: No stays are possible during the period from August 1st to 15th, 2027 .
