COME AND JOIN US THIS WINTER!

Jacksons Lane is looking for two ensemble performers for this year’s in-house production of Christmas Comes to Moominvalley at Jacksons Lane, returning after a successful run last year.. The production will be produced by Jacksons Lane, and written and directed by Kaveh Rahnama. It has been commissioned especially for the Moomins 80th anniversary by Moomin Characters in Finland.

Rehearsals begin on the Monday 17th November and the show runs from Friday 5th December – Sunday 4th January. Each performer will be paid a salary of £700 per week. The show is being produced in collaboration with Moomin Characters.

The show will be using a combination of ensemble work, physicality, circus, and puppetry to tell the story – along spoken text. It will be aimed at all ages from 3 upwards. We specifically looking for:

• An acrobat (base)
• A puppeteer
• Experience working with devised theatre and a strong level of character, text and physical work is desirable.

Other skills which would help are:

• Actor/ musician
• Ensemble work
• Work with young people/families
• Experience in devised work

All artists must need a London base as we cannot provide or pay for accommodation
