Southbank Centre are doing a new show which may require someone with the requisite skills to teach some of their actors.

Full description:

1. The show is called The Creakers and is a co production with Theatre Royal Plymouth and Southbank Centre
2. The idea at present is that Lucy the main character descends from a tower in the middle of the stage – she is descending into Wolab , a mythical place under a child’s bed
3. The director is interested in using human counter weight as he wants the actors to be seen to be operating all the stage effects
4. The show rehearses in London from Sept 23rd for 2 weeks and then moves to Plymouth to continue rehearsing on the set
5. Production week in Plymouth is Monday 21st October – opens Friday 25th Oct until Nov 2nd
6. There is a gap then until December 18th when it opens in London for 3 weeks
