About

Aerial Hoop is a circular steel apparatus suspended from the ceiling, designed for performing aerial acrobatics. On this course, you’ll build on the basics learned in Level 1, and start putting your technical skills into practice. You will further develop your fitness, body awareness and control, as well as your technique in order to enable you to link moves together, and work towards creating short sequences and routines.

Who it’s for

This course is suitable for you if you have successfully completed Level 1 and been signed off by your teacher. It would also be suitable for those with previous experience in Static Trapeze, and want to apply that technique to another aerial discipline (this includes those who have completed Level 2 Static Trapeze and been signed off by their teacher).

If you have experience and would like to start training at the National Centre on a more advanced level course, you can book an Aerial Assessment.

What to wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing such as leggings or tracksuit bottoms, a T-shirt or vest, and clean indoor trainers. For aerial classes, clothing that covers the limbs (like long sleeves and leggings) is advised.

Course information

Please note, no classes will run from 16 – 22 February due to the half term.

This course would not be suitable for anyone at our beginner level. If you are not signed off by our teachers to take part in classes at this level, you will not be able to take part.

If you are interested in a course that has already started, you may still be able to join at a discounted price!
