About

Discover the fun of Aerial in this small and slow-paced class, with a maximum of 4 participants sharing 2 pieces of equipment.

We will work with you to get you flying in a supportive and accessible environment. We will start working with an aerial sling, and once we have gained some confidence, you will have the opportunity to try other equipment, like aerial hoop.

Who it’s for

This taster session is for anyone who does not feel that they would be comfortable in one of the other group classes we offer, but it is primarily aimed at those from the D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent community.

The class will be led by Joel, a queer disabled person, who specialises in teaching people from marginalised communities, with an access-first atmosphere.

We will get in touch with you after your booking to ask about your access needs. Alternatively, feel free to get in touch before booking by e-mailing recreational@nationalcircus.org.uk if you have any questions. If you need a carer to attend the class with you, please let us know.

What to wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing such as leggings or tracksuit bottoms, a T-shirt or vest, and clean indoor trainers. For aerial classes, clothing that covers the limbs (like long sleeves and leggings) is advised.
